SportSub Interior Pictures

This picture shows the dashboard and control panels of a ResortSub. Front and center is the main control panel with the joystick for motor control, above the joystick is the compass. The yellow circle below the joystick is where the Sonar display is located. The switches around the joystick listed from the top right and going clockwise around the joystick; main power switch, sonar power switch, sonar forward/down selector switch, buoyancy control auto/manual switch. Right at the bottom of picture you can see the top of the buoyancy control system. On either side of the main control panel are the dashboard windows that allow you to see straight down below the sub. There is also a picture showing these windows taken from underneath the nose of the sub. On either side of the center front window are the dive computer on the left and the flow meter on the right. Along the right side, under the right front window, are the ReservAir system controls. The pressure guage at the far right, and to the left, the valves for "Manual Cockpit Air" and for engaging ReservAir. In the overhead liner is the overhead control panel containing the valves for blowing and flooding the front and rear ballast tanks. Also in the overhead, at the very top of the picture, can be seen the gray connector for the communications headset.
