SportSub Pilot Training
Pilot Training is the most important part of purchasing a SportSub. The things you learn during the pilot training course will keep you safe so you can enjoy your sub for many years. It is also required for your warranty to be valid, and if you want insurance.
Your one week SportSub Pilot Training Course includes:
* Must be purchased at the same time as the training course. Jacket orders can not be cancelled.
SportSub Pilot Training is done using your SportSub, at your location. We send two trainers so that you can be trained to pilot your sub, as well as maintain and operate your sub. The cost is $2500.00 plus expenses.
Alternatively you can have your pilot training done here near our facility with our trainers. If we use your sub, the cost is $4000.00 plus your expenses. Expenses would be your airfare and hotel, dry suit rental, air tank rental, and your meals. The trainers cover their own expenses in town, and will provide the truck and gas, and trailer. If you don't have a sub but want to be trained to be a SportSub Pilot, we can arrange to rent you a sub for the week for $1000.00.
Prerequisites to SportSub Pilot Training are as follows: As a minimum, you must be an Open Water Certified SCUBA diver, and you must be in good health and ready for adventure.
